This and the comic that follows are part of another sequence of sprites showing one of the Yellow Demon's attacks. I could've put them together in a larger comic, but in this case I felt the punchlines were strong enough to keep them separate. After all, who doesn't like seeing Mega Man get hurt? When I was making these comics, I knew they would look pretty cool animated. I didn't yet have the software or the skill to do anything like that, but once I did, I turned them into an animation for one of the First Anniversary comics, along with a couple of other cool scenes from the comic's first year. It might also be worth noting that Nate and a Met Demon later use this same move.
