Time travel's all fun and games until it's up to you to figure out what you've already done and what you still have to do because you've told yourself you've already done it. Presumably the Far Future Alternates returned to this time period at some point after their adventures with regular Mega Man and company in the Fifth Megaman Game storyline. But if you recall, while their past selves (the Present Alternates) got blasted back home (minus their memories), they were stuck in the past and had to construct a new time machine (again). Now, while they might have used that time machine to immediately come here, it's more likely that they returned to their own time to rebuild the time machine mechanisms in their blasters before making the trip. Of course, it's also possible that they were inadvertantly redirected to the end of the comic first. In other words, while the "Far" Future Alternates might be from further in the future than the Future Alternates, it may not be by that much. |
